An award-winning New York-based writer, director, designer, and artist, Neera Zaveri explores delicate concepts through her films and designs.
Neera obtained a Bachelor’s in Interior Architecture from India’s CEPT University. After working in the architecture field for several years, Neera desired to expand her artistic vision into cinema. She soon there after came to New York and started her film journey.
Her films hold a mirror to contemporary social issues, never shying from difficult material.
She has crafted subtle portraits of the human response to trauma, abuse, and family strife and has many more subjects she’d like to explore in the future.
